- Demand (需求 xū qiú) as in demand of food (食物需求 shíwù xūqiú; 需 xū, need; 求 qiú, seek).
- When translating phrases like “aggregate demand” (总需求 zǒng xū qiú), “aggregate” will only be translated into a single character “总” (zǒng), but “aggregate” itself will be translated into 总计 (zǒng jì).
