Aggregate supply (总供给 zǒng gōng jǐ) is the total supply of final goods and services produced by an economy, given a certain time period.
- Supply as in “petrol supply” (汽油供给 qì yóu gōng jǐ; 供 gōng, provide; 给 jǐ, give).
- When translating phrases like “aggregate demand” (总需求 zǒng xū qiú), “aggregate” will only be translated into a single character “总” (zǒng), but “aggregate” itself will be translated into 总计 (zǒng jì).
