Capital (资产)

Capital (资本 zī běn) refers to assets (资产 zī chǎn) that can be used for producing (/生产 chǎn/shēng chǎn) economic value. “Das Kapital” (资本论 zī běn lùn), literally “theory of capital” in Chinese, is a work by Karl  Marx.

” (běn) as in “fundamental” (根本 gēn běn), “instinct” (本能 běn néng), or “skill” (本领 běn lǐng).
