Difficulty (挖矿难度 wākuàng nándù) is a measure of the computing power required to find a hash value that meets a given target. Also see: block.
- 挖 (wā) as in digging (挖开 wākāi) or sarcasm (挖苦 wākǔ).
- 矿 (kuàng) as in mineral (矿产 kuàngchǎn) or oil deposit (油矿 yóukuàng).
- 难 (nán) as in hard (难的 nándē), ill (难受 nánshòu) or blame (责难 zénàn).
- 度 (dù) as in degree (度数 dùshù), climate (温度 wēndù) or generous (大度 dàdù).
