Equilibrium (平衡 pínghéng) refers to a state of balance between two opposing forces, resulting in a stable system. For instance, equilibrium is reached when the market demand and market supply balance each other and thus lead to a stable price level.

  • (héng) as in measure (衡量 héngliáng) or balanced (均衡 jūnhéng).
