Export (出口 chūkǒu) is the activity of having the goods produced in one country be sold (卖出 mài chū) to another country, usually delivered via a port (港口/口 gǎngkǒu/kǒu).
- 出 (chū) as in selling (卖出 mài chū), going out (出去 chūqu) or coming out (出来 chūlai).
- 口 (kǒu) as in entrance (门口 ménkǒu).
