Fiscal policy (财政政策 cáizhèng zhèngcè) refers to the macroeconomic policy by which the government adjusts its spending levels and tax rates to influence the economy and achieve certain goals.
- 财政 (cáizhèng) as in fiscal policy (财政政策 cáizhèng), finance minister (财政部长 cáizhèng) or fiscal deficit (财政赤字 cáizhèng chìzì).
- 政策 (zhèngcè) as in a national policy (国家政策 guójiā zhèngcè) or education policy (教育政策 jiàoyù zhèngcè).
