Hash (哈希值 hā xī zhí) is a fixed-length string which represents the input data.

• The term “哈希” is the transliteration of “hash”.
• 值 (zhí) as in currency value (币值 bìzhí) and in gross output value (总产值 zǒng chǎnzhí).

Hash (哈希值 hā xī zhí) as in:

1. Hash function (哈希函数 hā xī hánshù).
2. Hash code (散列码 sàn liè mǎ).
3. Hash algorithm (哈希算法  hā xī suànfǎ).
