Import tariffs (进口关税 jìnkǒu guānshuì) is the tax (税/关税 shuì/guānshuì) imposed on goods and services imported.
- 进 (jìn) as in buying and bringing into (买进 mǎi jìn), going into (进去 jìnqu).
- 口 (kǒu) as in entrance (门口 ménkǒu).
- 关 (guān) as in turn off, shut, or close (关闭 guānbì), difficulty (难关 nánguān) or relation (关系 guānxì).
