Insolvency (破产)


Insolvency (破产 pòchǎn) refers to the situation where an individual or a company is unable to pay its debts. It is usually caused by poor cash flow and cash management.

  • (pò) as in destroy (破坏 pòhuài) or breakthrough (突破 tūpò).
  • (chǎn) as in property (cáichǎn) or product ( chǎnpǐn).

  1. An insolvency specialist/expert (破产专家 pòchǎn zhuānjiā).
